Brook Hirsch

Brooke Hirsh, Ed.S. NCSP

Brooke is a Licensed School Psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing psychological services in diverse educational and clinical settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a Master of Education and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the College of William and Mary. Brooke recently expanded her practice by obtaining licensure through the Virginia Board of Psychology, extending her expertise from school-based services into the clinical setting.

Brooke specializes in comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–21. Her areas of expertise include early childhood and school-age assessments, evaluations for special education and gifted services, and psychological assessments in private day schools and residential settings for adjudicated youth. She has advanced training in Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment utilizing the ADOS-2 and is experienced in conducting risk and threat assessments in public schools. In addition, she has previously provided counseling, crisis intervention, and functional behavioral assessments, bringing a well-rounded skill set to every evaluation and consultation.

Throughout her career, Brooke has held leadership roles in both school divisions and private educational support settings. At the administrative level, she managed special education eligibility processes and oversaw private day and residential placements for students with complex needs. As Coordinator of School Psychology Services with Allied Instructional Services, she partnered with school districts across Virginia, completing over 100 evaluations annually, supporting staffing needs, and mentoring school psychologists and educational diagnosticians.
