
Edward J. Brooks, LCSW
A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree of Master of Social Work, Mr. Brooks earned his LCSW in March of 2003. He has experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. In addition, Mr. Brooks has experience conducting family and group therapy. He has experience and competence working with individuals suffering with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, anger issues, ADHD, substance abuse, and personality disorders. Mr. Brooks possesses an eclectic theoretical base, with emphasis on cognitive behavioral approaches, motivational interviewing, structural family therapy, solution focus, and strength perspectives.
