
Theresa M. Grosse, LCSW
Theresa Grosse is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to youth and adults in community-based and outpatient settings. Theresa believes that through a process of collaboration and strength-based approaches, clients can heal from past hurts, develop greater resilience, and more fully enjoy their lives. To this end, she utilizes a variety of approaches in her practice that are tailored to help clients reach their goals: dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), insight-oriented therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Theraplay, child-centered play therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness, and expressive therapies. She has expertise in working with a variety of emotional/behavioral concerns and life challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, anger, conflict, self-expression, self-esteem, and foster care and adoption. She completed her graduate education at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017.
